We boarded the Regent Seven Seas Grandeur for the Luxury Across the Atlantic cruise. Sixteen nights Barcelona, Spain to Miami, Florida. A 735 ft ship that holds 746 guests in 372 suites. The Grandeur has a crew of 551crew members from 41 nationalities. Luciano Montesanto was our Captain.
Our boarding time was scheduled for Noon and we stepped on board at 12:15.

There are 10 different suite types. Ours was a Serenity Suite, with a stylish living area, a walk-in closet and dual sinks in the bathroom.

Our first evening started with the Bon Voyage Celebration 🍾 with the Regent Signature Orchestra and a breathtaking sunset.
Restaurants All the restaurants are included, however you do need reservations for the three specialties (Chartreuse, Pacific Rim, & Prime 7) except for lunch. Pacific Rim does not open for lunch.

La Veranda is the ship's breakfast and lunch buffet. At breakfast you also have the option to order made to order omelets, eggs, pancakes, etc. At lunch there is a pasta & hot carving stations. Our favorite breakfast spot.

Pacific Rim is their version of a Pan Asian restaurant with sushi, Korean bbq, etc. The restaurant is an all woman run venue. Our favorite specialty restaruant.

Sette Mari at La Veranda is their version of an Italian restaurant with a first come first served basis. We normally line up about 10 minutes before opening. Service always begins with the antipasti served at your table (bread, olives, cheese, etc.). We always decline and help ourselves to the buffet.

We really enjoy the cooking classes. We weren't particularly thrilled with the dishes since they were mostly fried, but the chef was excellent.

The Country Fair is held on a sea day. Guests have 30 minutes to play games, that are setup by each department, to win raffle tickets. At the end of the 30 minutes there are several drawings for different prizes.

Laundry is so easy and its like receiving a present when its returned.
There is a Nightly Show each evening at 9:30 pm. We attend most shows. They are entertaining and some are better than others.
Instrumentalist Andrea Amat was very good but not really our genre.
Comedian Steve Stevens Comedy & Much More & Around the World & Back Again, we really enjoyed his shows.

The Speaker Series has been very entertaining and informative for us. The topics are geared towards the area we are visiting. This cruise we had three speakers, we thought two were very good and the third was not as captivating. We did not attend every session and a few we watched on the tv in our room.
