November was a pretty slow month for us so this will be a short blog. The highlight of the month was our friends, Tony & Michelle, visiting us.
What did we do?
Puzzles that's how exciting we are.
Tony, Michelle, Rob and I visited the Citrus Museum. It was a small building and we thought it would only take us about 5 minutes to walk through. We left well over an hour after arriving, Kathleen was very informative.
"In the late 1800's, early Florida settlers began the commercial cultivation of citrus and an industry was born. Indian River Lagoon country, which is along the middle of the eastern coast of Florida, proved to be the prime location for growing the finest citrus in the world."

We visited Little Jim's our favorite Tiki Bar.
I visited Schacht Groves with Brianna and the boys. We went on a weekday so we were unable to pick fresh Indian River fruit but we bought some juice, cheese, and milk from their market. Hopefully next season we can go back.
American Icon Brewery the old Vero Beach Diesel Power Plant
Riverside Theater for a Beatles Tribute Band. The music was really good. The singing not so much.
Thanksgiving was celebrated with Zach, Brianna, and the boys. Let me tell you... Brianna put out an amazing spread, I did not get pictures. Rob said the only green bean casserole he will ever eat again is Brianna's, it was that good.
We are so thankful for the life we have and our family and friends. We hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving.
Where did we eat?
The Oar, Vero Beach FL food was good but we like Scamp Grill better. There was a sewer gas smell when we walked in the door that we hoped wouldn't permeate to the dining room. It did but I guess we just got used to it.
