València is the third largest city in Spain and is located on the Mediterranean coast. We really enjoyed this city and would love to come back! More so than Seville and Barcelona.

We received a tasty little appetizer |
I finally got my Paella |
Not sure what they gave us but not as bad as grappa (aka gasoline) |
Café Infanta was right down the street. We walked up and were able to snag two seats right under a heat lamp. Service and food was very good. This was our favorite!

For our very 'romantic' Anniversary dinner we chose Babalu Mediterraneo & Caribeño. We chose not to sit outside as it was too chilly for us. Inside was not much better and the music was extremely loud. We couldn't even have a conversation. Food was good but not great.

Where did we stay? Valencia Old Town City Centre AirBnB hosted by Antonio. It was a tiny 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony and private parking. Antonio kindly left us a bottle of wine, croissants, milk & coffee, so much more than most hosts.
I wonder 🤔 😏 what is behind this door |
Our balcony |
How did we get there? We drove 3 hours from Torrevieja to Valencia.
When did we visit? 6 - 9 November 2023
Valencia is a fun city!!! If we go back to Spain and stay "a while" it will probably be here.
