What did we do?
Old Town: At the heart of Dubrovnik is Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's like stepping into a world frozen in time as you wander through narrow cobblestone streets and check-out medieval architecture. Like so many towns in Greece and Italy, we were able to lose ourselves in the labyrinthine alleys.

The Wall: One of Dubrovnik's most iconic features is its majestic city walls, which encircle the Old Town. And for a 'mere' 70€ (for the two of us), we were able to walk the mesmerizing 2-kilometer-long journey of fortified walls that offered breathtaking panoramic views of the city, Adriatic Sea, and terracotta rooftops.

Dubrovnik West Harbour a cute little harbor with picturesque views of the Adriatic Sea, the old Walls of Dubrovnik, and the Fort Lovrjenac. It is also Blackwater Bay in Game of Thrones.

Cable Car: We hopped on the cable car for a bird's-eye view of Dubrovnik and ascended to the top of Mount Srd. Picturesque coastline, crystal-clear waters, and Old Town was the beautiful view we had. At the summit, we enjoyed the views and visited the Homeland War Museum.

Sunset Beach is supposed to be a delightful spot to enjoy sunsets. We managed to visit on a nice cloudy day. While here, we strolled along the promenade and checked out the Cave Bar. The cave was found during construction of Hotel More and they decided to incorporate it into the construction. It was a pretty cool place.

How did we get here? We walked to the train station (Solerno). Luckily it was not raining. Took the train to Naples and hopped on a bus to the airport. We had 12 minutes from the time of arrival to catch our bus. The train was running late and there was no way we were going to catch the bus we had scheduled. In seven plus months, I have stopped stressing about travel -- it always just works out. Sure enough, we hopped on the first bus we saw that said, "Aerporto", the driver scanned our tickets and off we went. We flew EasyJet front row seats. We arranged for a driver (thanks to our AirBnB host) to pick us up and deliver us to our home for the next five nights.

Where did we stay? We stayed at Marijana & Ariel's Place. This Airbnb was about an hour from the airport and was located outside of the Old Town. Sharon had narrowed her choices down to two: this one and one inside OldTown. The view won us over and it was less than $80 a night.Our Neighborhood

Eccelenze Costiera - it was okay for airport food. Definitely airport prices.
Take Away (in Old Town) - we were hungry and there were so many choices. Of course we picked a spot with no outdoor seating available. The food was very good.

Our favorite bakery, Klas, was right around the corner and recommended by our host. They had the best streudel! We tried apple, cherry, and chocolate. We also picked up lunch here.

Sandwich Bar Pile - we stopped in here because Sharon didn't like the choices in the bakery where I got my hotdog. Hers was much better.
Tuttobene Pizzeria a decent pizza shop.
Marangun Restaurant and Caffe Bar - our waiter was excellent and the food was exceptional. We enjoyed it so much we went back a second time.

Old Town was crazy busy at times and an exercise in patience (not one of my better virtues). Dunbrovnik was absolutely beautiful and everyone so helpful and friendly. We are glad we stayed outside the city walls and totally loved it here!
