Croatia - Zagreb

Zagreb, the capital and largest city of Croatia, and our final destination in Croatia before having to leave the European Union. Hard to believe we have been in the EU 90 days! We had a nice apartment and took advantage of the time to catch up on blogging, write some reviews and start making plans for our next country. We had booked our flight weeks ago and AirBnB a fews days ago but that was it. We still don't have an itinerary or any reservations. Just an idea and a very generic basic plan. It's how we roll!

Our travels across Croatia 🇭🇷.

Good morning
Various pictures of Zagreb.

Where did we eat? At 'home' -- all three nights!

How did we get here? Drove from Slunj/Rastoke after stopping in Karlovac to kill an hour and check out another town.

Where did we stay? AirBnB, 'Luxury Cozy Apartment Mila'. It was really nice and our host super communicative! He sent us pictures and videos of everything we needed for self-check-in. Including the number 4 pressed on the elevaor and a video driving through the parking garage to our parking spot. AND he left us a box of chocolates, a bottle of wine along with beer and mojitos in the fridge and salami and cheese. The only downside and this was NOT his fault was there was no hot water. He had warned us that there was planned maintnance and almost begged us to cancel (he was afraid we would give him a bad review but I assured him I would not because it wasn't his fault.)

When did we visit? June 23 through June 26, 2023

Our travels in Croatia started in Dubrovnik May 17th and ended June 26th in Zagreb.

Stayed tuned for our next adventure, which country will we explore next?
